Beauregard Electric Cooperative proudly supports and highlights the community service efforts of employee Tray West, whose leadership has transformed the Louisiana Riding Club into a faith based, community centered outreach program. What began as a traditional rodeo club has evolved into a ministry driven organization that combines youth development, family engagement, and Christian fellowship through western sports. Under Tray’s leadership as President since 2023, each Louisiana Riding Club event now includes Cowboy Church, featuring prayer and a message that emphasizes faith, character, and personal growth. The club provides riding and speed events for participants of all ages and skill levels, including individuals with physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. This service project extends beyond recreation, it uses the platform of rodeo and western heritage to mentor youth, encourage positive lifestyles, and foster a sense of community rooted in faith and strong values.
