Beauregard Electric Cooperative Closes its Office Lobbies, Drive Thru Remains Open

DeRidder- Out of an abundance of caution and in the best interest of public health for members, employees, and the general public, Beauregard Electric Cooperative (BECi) will close its office lobbies until further notice.

BECi offers easy and convenient ways to pay their utility bills through the following methods:

  • MyBECi mobile app
  • IVR phone payments
  • BECi member portal online
  • Night deposit/drop boxes
  • Postal mail
  • BECi office drive-thru windows

BECi will continue to utilize its mobile application for members to apply for service online.

“For years, members have been able to apply for service conveniently by using the online application located on the cooperative’s website. Once members apply, one of the Member Service Representatives will personally call and explain the proper procedures and direct you to the parish permit offices to complete the application process,” states Kay Fox, Vice President of Marketing and Member Services.

Beauregard Electric will also temporarily suspend member disconnects for the next 30 days and may extend the period if necessary, including those on the PowerPay Pre-Pay Program.

More information and updates to the public and general membership will be posted on the cooperative’s Facebook page and website, as needed.

BECi is the distribution cooperative that serves the electric needs of more than 43,000 residential, commercial and industrial members in a 7-parish area of southwest and central Louisiana. For questions, please call (337) 463-6221.
