Schedule of Fees

Authorized by the Louisiana Public Service Commission

  1. Membership is chargeable only on the first service in a member’s name – additional services in the same name do not require membership fees.
  2. A security deposit will be required on all accounts and may be up to 2.5 times the average monthly bill based on creditworthiness. For all large power and industrial accounts, an irrevocable letter of credit can be accepted in lieu of a deposit.
  3. Accounts disconnected for nonpayment of the bill shall pay entire past due amounts billed plus all applicable fees/charges before service can be reconnected.
Residential
  • Security deposit: Required

Camp
  • Security deposit: Required

Temporary Service
  • For construction:
    • Security deposit: Required
    • Membership fee: $5

Additional Services

Meter calibration:

Non-sufficient funds check handling:

  • Connection service charge: $20

Security light installation:

  • Connection service charge on existing pole: $20
  • Connection service charge if pole installation required: $350

Delinquent reconnect:

  • Connection service charge: $40
