 DeRidder, LA – Beauregard Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BECi) announces the promotion of Mark Royer from the position of supervisor of system inspection, reliability and maintenance to the position of vice-president of operations. Royer will be responsible for implementing procedures for the safe and efficient construction, operation and maintenance of BECi’s transmission and distribution system and warehousing, line materials, vehicles and mechanic shop.
Royer, a 31-year veteran of BECi, began his career as an apprentice lineman, then moved up in the ranks to a journeyman lineman, lead lineman, and crew chief. He resides in Ragley with his wife, Leah and has four children and four grandchildren.
