 DeRidder, LA – Beauregard Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BECi) announces the promotion of Kevin Aycock from the position of manager of engineering to the position of vice-president of engineering.
Aycock will be responsible for the cooperative engineering department. His responsibilities will include the professional and technical planning and design for the cooperative system to provide for safe, efficient, reliable electric service into the future.
Aycock, a graduate of Rosepine High School, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La. He is a registered professional engineer and a licensed master electrician for the state of Louisiana.
Previously, Aycock worked for 14 years as general manager of Kulaga Construction Co., Inc., DeRidder, La. – an electrical contractor specializing in the construction of transmission, distribution, and substation facilities. Also, Aycock worked six years as a senior electrical engineer for CLECO Corporation, located in Pineville, Louisiana in the areas of distribution protection and standards.
Aycock resides in DeRidder, La. with spouse, Tammy, and their two children, Randall and Lindsey, who both attend Rosepine High School.
