NOTICE: CHANGES IN BILLING PROCEDURE
BECi discontinues second notices, but billing process remains the same
Effective October 1, 2004, BECi will no longer mail second notices. Members who are delinquent will be notified of the disconnect date on their next month’s electric bill.
“This procedure change will streamline the delinquent account process,” states Kevin Reeves, manager of consumer services. “We are continually looking for ways to serve our members in an efficient and timely manner while keeping up with industry standards.”
This process will affect about 20 percent of BECi membership. Questions should be directed to the consumer services department at any of BECi’s locations.
